WE ARE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE LIKE YOU. Knowledge and experience are not needed.
All that is needed is your spirit, passion, enthusiasm, drive and dedication that thrives.
This program requires you to be in good health and physical fitness, as you are mainly outdoors taking care of a wide range of Predators, as well as general wildlife and domestic animals.
RATES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
R2600.00 per day per day
These rates include:
• Accommodation.
• Bedding, towels, and laundry service.
• 2 meals per day (Monday – Saturday) - light breakfast (bread, cereal, eggs, cheese, milk, tea, coffee) and a cooked lunch. We can cater to different dietary needs, so please make sure you specify in your application form if you require a special diet.
• Volunteering including training and induction.
• Bi-weekly shopping trips to town to buy supplies for dinner and other necessities –be sure to bring extra money for this.
• Entertainment area and swimming pool.
• A ZA Cheetah Conservation / Cheetah Experience t-shirt.
• Volunteering Certificate and reference letter.
Wi-Fi is available at a cost of R100 p/week. The amount will be added to your curio account for payment at the end of your stay.
Apart from your volunteering cost as outlined below, you will pay around R516.00 for transportation between OR Tambo and the Hatfield Gautrain station as well as R2 000 to and from the Hatfield Gautrain station to the Project.
